4C Hair Loc Journey

Wooo when I say I took my time getting the nerve to even take the next step to even start my Locs 😤 I’m mad about it frfr because I wish I did it sooner! Advice I would give to someone thinking about locs is to not expect your locs to look like your inspo pic your hair is yours alone and i have seen people be disappointed because they expect it to be exactly as the next’s. Don’t use heavy hair products to prevent build up in your hair. Trust the process it’s definitely a journey! Also don’t be afraid to try new styles just make sure you don’t put too much tension on your hair it causes thinning and breakage! You don’t need a retwist monthly locs are meant to be messy or frizzy (I love to check my progress with my new growth) and lastly Embrace the natural beauty of your hair because as a black woman society tries to fit us all in this one box and we are to diverse and divine for that! #lovelocbae #starterlocjourney #locjourney #womenwithlocs #embracevulnerability #lemon8creator #fyp #4cnaturalhair #Lemon8 #Locbae
