Mourning My Other Mother
I can never repay you for what you and your family did for me and I can never forget how I was always able to be vulnerable with you! There were many tears that you helped me wipe away.
I met Mrs. Eva after moving with my dad at 17. I met her because me and her daughter became friends and they were so nice to me always!
She took me in when I had no one letting me stay with them helping me get my first job and get on my feet. This world is cold and I learned that early on but despite my situation she gave me a place to stay when I had nowhere.
I thank god that I had the honor of knowing such a strong and beautiful woman mother wife and daughter. I remember when I officially crowned her my other mom she smiled as if it was the nicest thing ever said. She was one of my best friends and I really hate I did not get to give you more gratitude 🙏🏾 I hope you are in heaven looking after the ones you love just as you did in life.
