Matching energy might feel satisfying in the moment like “oh you dry textin’? Bet, me too.” But long term? It keeps you locked in cycles you’re trying to break free from. You can’t say you want growth and healing and then still entertain childish energy just to “keep it even.”
You don’t have to play petty just because they did.
