Praying Daughter of a Marine
So many times, I had to stop and pray because if war ever broke out, I knew my dad could be called. The long stretches of time away, the things he must’ve seen at the hands of war… only God knows.
Twenty years he gave them. Twenty years of service, while I lived my first twenty as the child of an American soldier.
Thank you, God, for keeping him safe and for watching over so many who never made it back home. It’s a sacrifice that words can never truly repay, but one we will always honor. 🇺🇸🙏🏽
