Did my own nails
Going on about two years of my nail journey. I taught myself how to do press on’s for my senior prom and loved it. I loved it and recently changed my career path to do what I love for work.

Through my experience learning to do press-on nails, I've found that patience and practice truly pay off. Starting with just basic tools and nail glue, I experimented with different designs and techniques by watching tutorials and practicing daily. Choosing the right nail shape and size and prepping your natural nails properly are key steps in ensuring your press-ons last longer and look professionally done. I also learned how using high-quality nail polishes, glitters, and even tiny embellishments like rhinestones added a unique touch to my creations. One of the most rewarding parts of this journey was realizing how self-taught skills can turn into a meaningful career path. By sharing my designs and progress online, I connected with a community of nail enthusiasts who encouraged me to keep improving and inspired me with their own art. This connection helped me stay motivated and opened doors to new opportunities. For anyone interested in starting their own nail journey, I'd recommend starting with simple designs and gradually challenging yourself with more intricate styles. Don’t be afraid of mistakes, as they are part of the learning process. Invest in a basic nail kit and look for inspiration on platforms like Instagram and YouTube. Remember, creativity is limitless in nail art! Whether it’s for special events like prom or just for fun, doing your own nails can be a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
