2.8 pounds lost in 5 days!

I’m so excited about that and this post is my way of celebrating it! I admit part of me is disappointed that it’s only 2.8 pounds. But I also realize I didn’t become overweight in just 5 days so any positive change in my weight is still a wonderful victory especially since being a stroke survivor means some exercises are not possible for me but I do my best to find what I can do. I log my meals and water intake and I’ve completely cut out candy and cokes which was a battle by itself. I’ve been addicted to caffeine and sugar since I was very little thanks to a clueless biological father.

The point is I’m excited I’ve lost weight even only 2.8 pounds. It helps me to want to stick to good habits.
