How I Plan To Recharge Over The Weekend ⚡️
This week was exhausting. I’m in the process of looking for another job so I’ve been going on interviews before work and during lunch breaks 🙈 plus things are crazy at my current job so I’ve just been super busy and doing a lot of running around. I can home and just vegged out for a bit but I know the weekend can be gone just like that. Sometimes I use the weekend as a week recharge time. Some ways I recharge is by:
NAPS. I will plan to take a good nap to catch my body up on extra sleep it missed out on. I wake up around 4:30 every morning and my kids normally wanna hang out or plan after work, plus getting dinner fixed so normally I’m pretty wiped. A nap helps reset things and I wake up ready to catch up on some things from that past week or get prepared for the upcoming week.
READING. I’ve always been a reader, I use to actually get grounded from books instead of tv when I was little because I didn’t care about tv privileges being taken away 🤣. I’m currently reading #sevendaysinjune & I am loving it so much I have to finish it this weekend.
HYDRATE. On the days I work in the office I feel like I don’t drink as much water as I do when I’m home so I like to pay special attention to my water intake or use a liquid IV to get my body feeling back hydrated and less like a prune.
MAMA & KID TIME. I miss my kiddos during the week, so we use the weekends to hang out, go on adventures, create crafts, or more. This weekend we are building the flower Lego set, next week we are making bath bombs.
I hope you all enjoy your weekend! What are some other ways to quickly recharge? I’m all about try new wats to up this energy!
Weekends are the perfect opportunity to rejuvenate after a long and hectic week. Many people find that prioritizing rest is crucial for both mental and physical health. In addition to napping, consider incorporating mindfulness practices such as meditation or yoga to enhance relaxation. Reading is another excellent way to unwind. Engaging with a good book can transport you to new worlds and provide an escape from daily stressors, serving as both entertainment and a way to glean new perspectives. Hydration is essential for maintaining a high energy level. Try to increase your water intake to stay alert and combat fatigue, especially if your weekdays are spent in a dehydrating work environment. Planning fun activities with kids offers not just enjoyable bonding time but also the chance to share creativity and joy. Interactive projects like building Lego sets or crafting bath bombs can serve as enjoyable distractions, making weekends feel fulfilling. Ultimately, finding a balance between rest and play can significantly enhance your weekend experience.
