✨ Day 6: Giving Myself Grace

Healing isn’t always pretty.

Some days we feel strong… and other days we feel tired, discouraged, or like we’re starting over.

But growth doesn’t happen in perfection.

It happens in the moments we keep going anyway.

Today I’m reminding myself that I’m still learning, still healing, and still becoming the woman I’m meant to be.

Sis, give yourself the same grace you give everyone else. Your progress still counts. 💗

... Read moreHealing is often portrayed as a linear process, but from my own experience, it’s anything but straight. Some days, I wake up feeling empowered and ready to take on the world; on others, I face fatigue, frustration, and doubt about whether I’ve made any progress at all. What has helped me immensely is embracing the reality that healing is nonlinear and that it’s perfectly okay to have those difficult days. One thing I started practicing is giving myself grace — much like I would offer a close friend or family member. When I notice self-criticism creeping in, I pause and ask myself: Where have I been too hard on myself? This reflection opens the door to compassion and allows me to shift my mindset from judgment to understanding. It’s a reminder that growth doesn't demand perfection but values perseverance. Another useful practice has been journaling about my healing journey, writing down moments of struggle alongside victories, no matter how small. This act grounds me in my personal progress, especially during times when it feels like I’m starting over. By recognizing that every step, even slow or backward, counts, I reclaim my power and motivation. If you’re on this path, remember that becoming the best version of yourself doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a continuous process of learning, healing, and becoming — and each stage deserves your kindness. So today, give yourself permission to rest, to be imperfect, and to keep moving forward with love and grace. Your progress absolutely counts.
