Camo Grinding Is Hard…….*pause*
Okay, so we all know camo grinding in Call of Duty is no joke. Seriously, it's like a second job sometimes, and I've definitely had my fair share of controller-throwing moments trying to unlock those shiny master camos. If you're feeling the same pain, trust me, you're not alone! I wanted to share some of my personal strategies and lessons learned that have helped me push through the toughest parts of this grind. First off, accept that it’s going to take time. A lot of time. Don't go into it expecting to get everything done in a weekend. My biggest mistake early on was trying to do too many weapons at once. Now, I pick one weapon class – assault rifles, SMGs, LMGs, whatever – and I *stick to it*. This helps me focus on the specific challenges for those guns and prevents me from getting overwhelmed. One challenge that always gets me is the longshots. Ugh! For these, I find bigger maps with longer sightlines are your best friend. Think maps like Ground War or Invasion, if your game has them. Equip a scope with high magnification, maybe some attachments that boost range and recoil control, and just post up. It might feel a bit campy, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do for those camos! On the flip side, for hip-fire kills or point-blank challenges, small, chaotic maps like Shipment or Nuketown are gold. Just run around like a madman, spraying and praying, and you'll rack them up. Headshots can be tricky too. I usually aim for the upper chest; the recoil often kicks it up to the head. Practice makes perfect, and eventually, you'll develop that muscle memory. Also, don't forget about specific perks or field upgrades that can assist you. Sometimes, a simple perk change can make a monumental difference for a particular challenge. For instance, using a perk that highlights enemies can make finding those last few kills much easier. My number one piece of advice? Don't burn yourself out. I've been there, playing for hours on end, feeling frustrated and not enjoying the game anymore. Take breaks! Seriously, step away for an hour, play a different game, or just do something else entirely. When you come back, you'll often find yourself playing better and with a fresher perspective. Remember, it's a game, and it should still be fun, even when you're grinding. Is it worth it in the end? For me, absolutely. There's a unique satisfaction that comes with seeing that final camo pop up on your screen. It's a badge of honor, a testament to your perseverance. Plus, rocking those Damascus, Dark Matter, or interstellar camos just looks cool, and it's a great way to show off your dedication. So, keep at it, fellow grinders! We can do this!
