Knot Her Pack review with my fur babies 🥰
I've apparently dived into the realm of the Omegaverse recently and read this series since my last review.
Book 1: Finding Their Omega, this is a reverse harem book that I liked from the start. I felt Sadie did a great job of setting the scene both the Omega and Alphas with characters that I could get behind. I also liked how she set up the alternate universe, if you will. I do apparently like the male narrator's voice and would have liked it used more, and I think the female's voice reminded me of Selena Gomez in a way. I felt the FMC was strong and independent, yet was savvy in how she survived her past trauma. I also thought the males each brought something different to the table that provided something the FMC needed. Overall, I'd give this 4.5/5.
Book 2: Choosing their Omega, this is also a reverse harem book. We are introduced to a new FMC and set of MMC, making this series a set of stand alone books throughout. Having binged C.R. Jane not too long ago, reading about hockey players ticked my fancy, that I apparently am still into. I felt the hockey players each brought something the Omega needs, and they truly grew into just a Beta who was a nanny into a pack. I liked the changes she made to the dynamic of presenting as an Omega and the ORD, giving readers a little more info into it, and I felt the narrators did a great job. Overall, I give this one 4.5/5.
Book 3: Claiming Their Omega, again this is a stand alone novel in the series. We are introduced to a Beta who presents later than adolescence as an Omega. What separates this book from book 1 and book 2 is the idea of true mates, almost like fate made her into an Omega to a pack of Alphas that were friends with her brother. This book I slightly liked more than the second book, and even the first book. I feel the plot and how she tied this together just came together. Overall, I'd rate this one 4.6/5.
Book 4: Craving Their Omega, this one I liked it, but it just didn't hit for me especially as hard as the other three did. this book, like the first book, sees the FMC trying to hide her Omega status due to past trauma, but now we have a marriage out of convenience that still have us a HEA. we also 3 Alphas instead of 4, which truthfully I was fine with. I feel this book tried to tie elements of book 1 and book 2 delivery in a way. I like this book overall, but I'd still give it 4/5.

After devouring the 'Knot Her Pack' series, I've had so many friends ask me about the Omegaverse. It's definitely a genre that sparks curiosity and has so many unique elements that make it incredibly compelling! If you're like me and just discovered this fascinating subgenre, or you're a seasoned reader looking to understand some of its core concepts better, let's dive into what makes Omegaverse so addictive. One of the most talked-about and defining tropes is what's often referred to as 'knotting.' If you're new to Omegaverse, it refers to a biological aspect where male Alphas, during mating, temporarily swell at the base of their reproductive organ, creating a 'knot.' It's often depicted as a way to ensure conception and strengthen the pair bond, making the experience more intense and intimate within the story. Authors use it to symbolize a deep connection and commitment, and it's a key element in many Omegaverse narratives, adding a layer of biological imperative to the fated mate dynamic that readers often crave. Beyond knotting, understanding 'pack dynamics' is crucial. In Omegaverse, characters often live in hierarchical packs, typically led by Alphas, with Omegas and Betas fulfilling different societal roles. The 'Knot Her Pack' series beautifully explores how these dynamics play out, whether it's a found family pack or a more traditional one. Each member brings something unique, and the interaction between Alphas and Omegas, especially, drives a lot of the conflict and romance. It’s fascinating to see how a group of individuals forms a cohesive unit, supporting and protecting each other, which is something I deeply enjoyed in Sadie's books. And let's not forget the diverse portrayal of Omegas! While some stories feature 'soft omegas' who are more traditionally submissive and nurturing, many, like the FMCs in 'Knot Her Pack', are strong, independent, and resilient, navigating their Omega status on their own terms before finding their pack. The idea of 'true mates' or fated bonds, where characters are destined for each other, also frequently appears, creating an intense emotional pull that makes these stories so addictive. It’s this blend of fated connection and individual strength that makes these characters so memorable. If you’ve enjoyed diving into the world of 'Knot Her Pack'—just looking at the book covers again makes me want to re-read them!—and are looking for more Omegaverse series, I highly recommend exploring authors who focus on strong character development and unique takes on these tropes. There's a vast universe of stories out there beyond just one series. Don't be afraid to read blurbs and reviews to find your next obsession. Whether it's a more traditional alpha/omega pairing or a full reverse harem with complex pack dynamics, there’s an Omegaverse story waiting for you. It's truly a genre that offers a rich blend of fantasy, romance, and often deep emotional connections. Happy reading, fellow Omegaverse enthusiasts! Maybe curl up with your own 'fur babies' like I do when diving into these captivating worlds. 😉
