The Dreamland review with Charlotte and Nala

• Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

• Spice: 🌶️

• Tropes: grumpy/sunshine, workplace romance, opposites attract, forced proximity, hidden identity

• I used both Kindle App and Audible to read this book. Honestly, I hadn't heard of this female narrator or author prior to this book.

• I absolutely loved this book! Aiden and Desiree truly captured the identities of Rowan and Zhara so well. I felt the plot was interesting, the character growth was so satisfying to see from start to finish, and the spice felt more like a reward versus being there for the sake of being there. I feel like I can be somewhat picky when it comes to rating romance novels, but this one had me from the start (hearing Aiden first thing was 🤌).

• Overall, this story deserved all 5 stars. I already downloaded the next book in the series, and cannot wait to start Terms and Conditions.

... Read moreI've been absolutely swept away by Lauren Asher's 'The Fine Print,' and if you're anything like me, you're probably wondering what all the hype around the Dreamland Billionaires series is about! This book, which kicks off the series, truly sets the bar high. What I love most about Lauren Asher's writing is how she crafts characters that feel so real, even amidst the billionaire fantasy. Her ability to weave together intense emotions with laugh-out-loud moments is just brilliant. She has a talent for creating dynamic relationships that explore not just the romantic connection but also personal growth and overcoming past traumas. For those unfamiliar with the Dreamland Billionaires series, it revolves around three brothers, each with their own unique journey to love within the world of their family's theme park empire. After devouring 'The Fine Print,' I immediately downloaded 'Terms and Conditions,' the next book, and I'm already anticipating more of Asher's signature blend of romance and rich character development. It’s not just a series about wealth; it’s about finding love, redemption, and challenging expectations within a high-stakes world. If you're looking for an interconnected series where you can truly invest in the characters over multiple books and enjoy a mix of contemporary romance with a touch of modern fairy tale, this is definitely it! Speaking of 'The Fine Print' specifically, let's talk about that stunning cover! The book cover for "The Fine Print" by Lauren Asher, part of the Dreamland Billionaires series, features a captivating blue-toned illustration of a castle with a torn paper effect. I often find myself drawn to books with visually appealing covers, and this one certainly didn't disappoint. It perfectly hints at the 'dreamland' theme, echoing the magic of a theme park without giving too much away about the plot. A great cover can really make a book stand out on a shelf or online, and I think this one does an excellent job of representing the story's whimsical yet grounded feel, inviting readers into Rowan and Zhara's world. My reading sessions for 'The Fine Print' were made even cozier thanks to my feline friends. As you can see from my photos, my sweet orange tabby, Nala, often curls up nearby, creating the perfect peaceful reading atmosphere. And Charlotte, with her striking green eyes, loves to keep an eye on things from her favorite spot. There’s something incredibly comforting about having a pet around while you’re diving into a great book. They don't judge your emotional reactions to plot twists, and they're always there for a purr or a gentle headbutt when you need a little break from the story. It really enhances the whole experience, turning a simple read into a truly relaxing escape. It's my little reading ritual! If you're on the fence about picking up 'The Fine Print' by Lauren Asher, especially if you enjoy tropes like grumpy/sunshine, workplace romance, opposites attract, or hidden identity, I wholeheartedly recommend it. It's a fantastic introduction to the Dreamland Billionaires universe and a testament to Asher's talent for crafting captivating romance novels that stay with you long after you've turned the last page. You won't regret getting lost in this world!
