ya’lllll, 6 YEARS after beginning to create content and share my life online — I finally filmed for a brand!! 😭🥹
I’ve been intimidated to work with brands for YEARSSS.
I mean, it wasn’t even until the 3rd or 4th year creating content & sharing my life online that I felt like I could MAYBE even do it. Especially because I’ve carried around so many insecurities about my appearance since I was young.
Me? You want my face to be a part of your brand’s representation? Are you sure? Have you noticed my eyes? What about my teeth?
I’m not your average beauty standard. But I am fully myself. And I’m just so happy that me being myself online for 6 years has brought me to a place where I have such an amazing community and have the potential to continue monetizing, learning, and growing.
BTWWWW, I will never recommend something I don’t use or like myself, so don’t worry fam. 🥹 Trust in ya’ll is my top priority. literally you’re my online family lol. 🤍
from here, we keep putting one foot in front of the other — facing fears along the way, right friend? 🫶
I LOVE YOU GUYS. THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE. enjoy some of the bloopers (even tho I literally talk in front of the camera all the time, I was hella nervous for this lmao) — it’s posted unmuted in my stories!!🕺😝🎥🤷🏻♀️✨

Taking the leap to collaborate with a brand after years of self-doubt is something many creators can relate to. When I first started sharing my life online, I often questioned whether my appearance fit the typical beauty standards demanded by brands. I worried about my eyes, my smile, and whether I truly represented something brands wanted to endorse. But over time, being genuine and consistent helped me build a supportive community that values honesty over perfection. What really helped me was shifting my mindset from trying to be someone else's ideal to embracing my unique traits. This authenticity not only connected me with followers but also gave me the confidence to finally say yes to brand partnerships. Throughout the process, transparency is key—I only promote products I genuinely use and believe in, because maintaining trust with my community is more important than any deal. If you’re a content creator struggling with similar insecurities, know that building confidence takes time, and it’s okay to move forward at your own pace. Engaging with your audience openly can foster a sense of family online, making your journey richer and more rewarding. Also, don’t be afraid to share your bloopers and vulnerable moments; they humanize you and deepen your connection with followers. For those interested in content creation, following accounts dedicated to sharing tips and experiences can be incredibly helpful. I’m launching a new space to help aspiring creators navigate this world, so keep an eye out for upcoming content. Remember, persistence and authenticity are your best tools in this evolving digital landscape.
