What I have eaten so far while doing 75 Soft

2024/9/16 Edited to

... Read moreHey everyone! Diving into the 75 Soft Challenge means really prioritizing what you put into your body. It's not just about hitting those workouts; nutrition plays a massive role in how you feel, perform, and ultimately, your success. After two weeks, I've gathered some practical tips and meal ideas that helped me stay on track and actually enjoy my food! Planning is Your Best Friend: One of the biggest game-changers for me has been meal prepping. Seriously, having healthy options ready to go makes resisting unhealthy temptations so much easier. I spend a little time on the weekend planning out my breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks. This helps me create balanced plates with lean proteins like grilled chicken or ground meat, complex carbs such as mashed sweet potato or rice, and plenty of fresh vegetables like green beans, zucchini, and mixed greens. Breakfast Ideas to Fuel Your Day: For breakfast, I love starting with something satisfying. A go-to is a bowl of yogurt topped with fresh strawberries and a sprinkle of granola. It’s quick, delicious, and keeps me full. On other days, I might whip up some avocado toast with a perfectly cooked egg, sometimes even adding a slice of cheese or bacon (make sure it fits your specific 75 Soft rules!) for extra flavor and protein. Don't forget that protein shake for an extra boost! Lunch That Keeps You Going: Lunch can often be tricky, especially if you're on the go. I found bento boxes incredibly useful – I’d pack mine with rice, grilled protein, and crisp sliced cucumbers. Another favorite is a hearty salad; think mixed greens, grilled chicken, a hard-boiled egg, and even some dried cranberries for a touch of sweetness. Sometimes, when I’m out, I opt for a takeout container with grilled meat, rice, and lettuce, just being mindful of dressings to keep it healthy. Dinner for Recovery and Satisfaction: Dinners are my chance to really enjoy a balanced meal. I loved plates featuring two steaks, mashed sweet potato, and a fresh side salad. Another satisfying option was chicken wings (baked or air-fried!) with a generous serving of green beans and sliced strawberries on the side. I also experimented with ground meat paired with roasted sweet potatoes and zucchini, topped with a creamy orange sauce (again, checking ingredients!). The key is to ensure you’re getting adequate protein for muscle recovery and a good mix of carbs and fats for energy. Smart Snacking Strategies: Snacks are crucial for keeping hunger at bay between meals. My go-to options included healthy rice cakes, fresh fruit like sliced green apples with a dollop of peanut butter, or a handful of grapes. I also kept a bag of sea salt roasted seaweed snacks handy for when I craved something savory and crunchy. These choices are easy to grab and help maintain energy levels without derailing your progress. Remember, the goal is often nutrient-dense, whole foods. By planning ahead and focusing on whole, unprocessed foods, you can make the 75 Soft Challenge not just achievable, but also enjoyable. It’s all about making smart choices that support your goals!
