Hey everyone! So many of you have been asking about my latest LEGO project, and I'm super excited to share more about bringing a Sephora store to life in my brick city! It’s been an absolute dream of mine to combine my love for beauty and building, and honestly, seeing a miniature Sephora come together is just *chef's kiss*. The whole idea started when I was looking at my Lego city under construction and realized it was missing something truly unique, something that spoke to my everyday interests beyond just generic shops. Sephora immediately came to mind! I mean, who wouldn't want a tiny world of beauty products for their minifigures? Planning Your Dream LEGO Sephora: First things first, I spent a good amount of time just browsing Sephora's website and looking at store photos. What are the key elements? The iconic black and white stripes, the sleek product displays, the bright lighting, and of course, all those colorful makeup and skincare brands. I knew I had to capture that vibe. Think about the overall layout: a main entrance, different sections for makeup, skincare, fragrance, and a checkout area. Even tiny details like promotional stands or new arrival sections can add so much character. Sourcing Your Bricks: This is where the real fun (and sometimes challenge!) begins. For the exterior, I’m using a lot of black, white, and clear bricks for windows. Inside, I’m incorporating pops of color from various small tiles to represent different product packaging. My go-to places are BrickLink for specific, hard-to-find pieces, and LEGO's Pick-A-Brick wall (or online equivalent) for bulk quantities of common bricks. Don't be afraid to get creative with parts! A tiny stud can be a perfume bottle, and a collection of colorful 1x1 round plates can become an eyeshadow palette. Bringing the Interior to Life: This is where the magic happens! I’m focusing on making mini makeup counters with tiny brushes, shelves filled with 'skincare' (using transparent colored studs and tiles), and even a small 'fragrance' section. I've even tried to create a mini-version of their famous 'Beauty Insider' desk. For lighting, I’m experimenting with some small LEGO light bricks or even tiny fairy lights to give it that bright, inviting store glow. Remember, it’s all about creating an immersive experience for your minifigures! Integrating into Your LEGO City: Once your Sephora is built, how does it fit into the broader Lego city under construction? I’m planning to place mine next to a chic little boutique or a coffee shop to create a bustling shopping district. Think about connecting paths, sidewalks, and even a tiny parking area for your minifigure cars. This makes it feel like a real, living part of your miniature world.
