How to make 16 servings of spaghetti for under $18
Whether you’re on a budget,or just wanna make a nice hearty meal prep, or bring an easy entrée for an event, this can be for you!
Ingredients/recommended place to go to/price:
💚 2 pounds of spaghetti (Winco bulk section) $2
💚 3 pound bag of meatballs (Walmart great value) $8
💚 16oz of Alfredo sauce (Walmart great value) $2
💚 12oz canned tomato paste (most grocery stores have similar prices) $2
Total cost?… ✨$14✨
That’s less than a dollar per serving! 😱
Other things you can add, but is completely optional
(Not included in the price):
💜 Italian seasonings
💜 salt
💜 almond milk
💜 garlic powder
💜 onion powder
💜 lemon juice/lemon concentrate
💜 cheese
I cooked my pasta in a large pan and made sure to submerge all the noodles in the water and cooked it like I would any other spaghetti.
I did add some salt into the pasta water. I’ve been put the spaghetti in a colander while I use the same large pan to combine the tomato paste and the alfredo sauce, along with some optional lemon juice and a heavy splash of water and a tad bit of almond milk.
You want this extra liquid if you cook your meatballs in the sauce on your stove top. Otherwise, adding the water/milk is unnecessary. Listen to whatever instructions say for your meatballs.
Once completed, you may combine the spaghetti and the meatballs/sauce however you’d like, or don’t. I’m not your motheeeeeer. 😂
In all seriousness, I really hope this is helpful. I know it’s only one recipe but still. You could technically do this with a lot of stuff. Have a great day! 💚💚💚
