... Read moreIn 2024, I read a total of 164 books, showcasing a diverse array of genres and authors. My average rating for the year was an impressive 4.1, indicating quality selections that kept me captivated. Some of my highest-rated reads included Rebecca Yarros' "Fourth Wing," which achieved an outstanding rating of 4.73 on Goodreads. This title has gained significant attention, becoming a bestseller and attracting book lovers with its gripping narrative.
I also explored the realm of shorter and longer books, reading the shortest book at just 43 pages and tackling a hefty 686-page novel. This variety reflects a desire for both quick reads and deeper, more immersive experiences. The interest also aligned with trending themes on social media, as many readers shelved the 'Rivals to Lovers' hockey romance novella, showing a prominent trend in contemporary romance that’s hard to ignore.
As I look towards 2025, my goal is not only to read more but to expand my literary horizons. I hope to explore more genres, perhaps delving further into non-fiction or classic literature. Each book offers an opportunity to learn and grow, and I am excited about the potential discoveries awaiting me in the coming year. Join me on this literary adventure with the hashtag #2025books!
