Booth Refresh!!
As an avid antique shopper I wanted to create a space that had everything I personally look for. While this is still the beginning of “Moonlit Mantel” being launched- I am very proud of how it’s coming together!!
Here’s a breakdown:
1.) Cohesive Tags With a Brand Name
I think having a booth name and displaying it on your items gives it a uniform feel. It makes it feel cohesive and shows the effort that you put into it. It also is easy to read and people can take home the tags and remember your booth name with the link to your site!
2.) Printed Prices
Using a print machine to type the prices and descriptions really makes it easier to read!
3.) Strong Tag Strings
Using strong clasp strings makes them easy to put on products, and hard to fall off of an item and get lost.
4.) Price Variety
I personally love antique stores because of the historical items. Let’s be real- those items are often hand carved, ornate, marble, gilded, and just plain pricey. They are so fun to look at though even if you don’t want to splurge on it! So while I do include those items- I also additionally have my small spends $. This includes a range from $3-$55.
5.) Booth Display
Going into a booth and having to dig for stuff is fun, but not when you can’t fit in the isle without worrying about breaking stuff. At the same time, if it’s too curated it doesn’t feel comfortable and it’s too staged. I like to mix the concept of both- finding the sweet spot of an organized chaos that also gives ✨home✨.
6.) Play with Texture & Color
I am not afraid to be bold with texture and color, it allows everyone to find something they like! Adding lace and fabrics for sale also is great because not everyone is looking for shelf items.
7.) Furniture Variety
I offer side tables, coffee tables, chairs, and couches. I included at least one of each to not only set up a realistic atmosphere but also to appeal to different shoppers.
GOALS:
I plan to add more items on my walls- and utilize the space better. I plan to add a beam to the top of my booth to add more foliage and suspend some items from it!
Any feedback is appreciated, thank you! 🗝️🕯️
