My kitten kept smelling around my mouth and nose
Last night, the kitten kept smelling around my mouth and nose and I had to keep gently pushing him away to try to sleep. I thought it was just him smelling and getting to know me since I just adopted him a few weeks ago. This morning, he is doing the same thing as I’m still laying in bed. He’s smelling my mouth/nose and keeps poking the area with his paw. Very odd behavior and he seems very preoccupied about it. I don’t have any sort of tooth pain going on or other new issues, I feel fine besides some fatigue and dry throat (but I wake up with that basically every morning).
Any ideas of what he might be sensing? Anyone else’s cats do this sort of thing?
