3-day, 2-night adventure in Sydney!

Planning a 3-day trip to Sydney, just like I did, is an incredible way to get a taste of this vibrant city! While my itinerary was packed with iconic sights, I learned a few things along the way that can help you make the absolute most of your visit. First off, getting around Sydney is surprisingly easy. For a 3-day adventure, I highly recommend grabbing an Opal card for public transport. Plus, taking a ferry to places like Manly or just around the harbour offers some of the best views of the skyline! When it comes to food, Sydney is a paradise! My trip included amazing meals at Dondon and a refreshing treat from Mixue, but don't stop there. Make sure to explore the diverse culinary scene. Near Market City, you'll find fantastic Asian eateries – perfect for a quick and delicious lunch. And if you're hitting Bondi Beach, there are countless cafes for a hearty breakfast or brunch, just like my visit to Bill's Australia. For dinner, consider the Darling Harbour area for its lively atmosphere and variety of restaurants. And of course, a visit to the Sydney Fish Market is a must for fresh seafood lovers – it’s an experience in itself! To truly maximize your 3 days, try to group attractions by location. For example, dedicate a morning to the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and the Botanical Garden, as they're all close to each other. Another day, you could combine a visit to St. Mary's Cathedral and the Art Gallery of New South Wales, then explore the shops at the Queen Victoria Building. Early mornings are perfect for popular spots like Bondi Beach to avoid the biggest crowds and enjoy the tranquil beauty. Don't forget to factor in some relaxation! Belmore Park is a lovely green space for a quick break, and simply strolling along Darling Harbour in the evening is a treat. Sydney’s weather can be glorious, so always pack sunscreen, a hat, and comfortable walking shoes. Even if you're not planning a full river tour, a short ferry ride can offer breathtaking perspectives of the city.
