A place with dreamy views - Montana ❤️
TT told me to post this😝 #glaciernationalpark #montana
Okay, so my friend totally convinced me to share these photos from my trip to Glacier National Park, and I'm so glad they did because this place is pure magic! ✨ If you're dreaming of an unforgettable adventure, you absolutely have to put Glacier National Park on your bucket list. Seriously, the moment you drive into this part of Montana, you're hit with views that feel like they're straight out of a painting. Think towering, rugged mountains, pristine alpine lakes that shimmer in shades of turquoise and emerald, and lush forests that stretch as far as the eye can see. I've traveled a bit, but the sheer scale and beauty here are unlike anything else. Every turn on the Going-to-the-Sun Road offered a new 'wow' moment. It's truly a road trip experience of a lifetime. For anyone planning a visit, I'd say aim for late June through early September. That's when most of the park roads are open, and the trails are clear of snow. I went in August, and the weather was perfect for exploring. Be prepared for all kinds of weather, though – mountain conditions can change in a flash! Layering is key. One of my absolute favorite things to do was hiking. There are trails for every level, from easy strolls to challenging backcountry expeditions. I did a few shorter ones that led to incredible waterfalls and viewpoints. The peace you find out there, surrounded by nature, is just incredible. And keep your eyes peeled for wildlife! I was lucky enough to spot some bighorn sheep and even a distant grizzly, which was thrilling (from a safe distance, of course!). Just remember to always carry bear spray and know how to use it. Beyond hiking, simply driving the Going-to-the-Sun Road is an experience in itself. Stop at all the overlooks – trust me, you won't regret it. Logan Pass is a must-see, offering stunning panoramic views and access to beautiful trails. And don't forget to check out the iconic Lake McDonald; its colorful pebbles are so unique and make for amazing photos. Food-wise, I packed a lot of snacks and sandwiches for my day trips, but there are also some charming lodges and restaurants within the park if you prefer. Staying hydrated is super important, especially if you're hiking at higher elevations. Overall, my trip to Glacier National Park was an absolute dream. It's a place that rejuvenates your soul and reminds you of the incredible beauty our planet holds. I'm already dreaming of my next visit. If you're looking for an epic adventure with views that will stay with you forever, this is your sign to start planning your Glacier National Park getaway!
