Redoing my childhood bedroom💖
My husband and I just sold our home and we are moving back in to my parents home. They kept my childhood bedroom exactly as it was, hot pink paint and all. (It was a phase)😅
We are redoing the room before moving in. We’ve removed the carpet, painted, removed the crown molding, and taken out the closet framing, and are going to start on the flooring Saturday! 🎉
Redoing your childhood bedroom can be an emotional and fulfilling project. As you embark on this renovation journey, consider incorporating elements that reflect your current style while honoring your past. Start by selecting a neutral color palette, which can refresh the space and make it feel modern. Don't forget to take care of minor repairs, such as filling in nail holes and sanding down surfaces for a smooth finish. Understand the importance of functional spaces; maybe you could opt for multi-purpose furniture. Embrace creativity by adding personalized decor that speaks to your adult self. Sharing your process can inspire others; posting updates on platforms with hashtags like #DIY and #HomeProject can garner valuable feedback and ideas from fellow enthusiasts. Whether it's through an Instagram story or a dedicated blog, documenting your journey not only keeps you motivated but connects you to a wider community. Keep safety in mind while working; protective gear and proper tools are essential. Renovation not only changes a space but can also shift your memories, turning your childhood haven into a loving tribute to your growth.

Lots of work it be perfect when done I sure 🤗
