Things to do in Costa Rica

2024/1/3 Edited to

... Read moreWhen visiting Costa Rica, it's important to understand the local culture and customs to fully enjoy your trip. One key piece of advice is to try the coffee—Costa Rican coffee is renowned for its quality. Enjoy meals in local restaurants, which will not only provide authentic cuisine but also help you avoid high tourist prices. Expect rice and beans to be a staple in most meals, so getting used to this dish can enhance your culinary experience. Safety should also be a priority; always keep an eye on your belongings to prevent theft, as petty crime can occur. Engaging in activities like hiking in national parks, visiting waterfalls, and experiencing the diverse wildlife will make your journey truly enriching. Embrace the local spirit and consider learning some basic Spanish phrases to connect with the friendly locals and enhance your experience.
