Hidden Gems: Best Travel Secrets of Alaska

As an Alaskan resident, I have explored my state from top to bottom and I have found the secret gems that are hidden within the great Last Frontier.

Alaska is a land of untamed beauty and breathtaking landscapes. She is magnificent!

👉🏼 The Kenai Fjords National Park is the coolest place to see all the water wildlife. Take the Kenai Fjords tour out of Seward and watch glaciers cavern and many puffins and sea lions basking in the sun.

👉🏼 The charming town of Talkeetna, where you can witness the stunning views of Denali, North America's tallest peak is a definite favorite of mine and will recommend to anyone going to Alaska.

👉🏼 You can learn about the rich Native Alaskan culture in the remote village of Barrow, where traditional practices and customs thrive. There are 2 huge whale tusks that shape an arch that is an important landmark of Alaska.

👉🏼 Venture off the beaten path to the hidden gem of McCarthy, nestled in the heart of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. Here, you can hike through pristine wilderness, explore abandoned copper mines, and soak in the serenity of the Alaskan wilderness.

👉🏼 If you love a big adventure and rigorous exploration, then I suggest hiking or even mountain biking up lost lake in Seward, Alaska. The scenery is unreal and changes as you go deeper into the wilderness.

👉🏼 Another favorite hike that is 10 miles round trip is Reed Lakes, Hatchers Pass. This long but incredible hike is the MOST BEAUTIFUL I have ever done in THE WORLD. It feels like you’re on another planet.

This is your sign to go to Alaska!
