Alaskan Market in the heart of the CITY🥑🍎🍊🥔🥦🍅🫚🍐🍇
Johnny’s Produce was founded in early 2020 by Johnny and Ginna Baldiviez, seasoned entrepreneurs with deep roots in Anchorage's food scene.
The couple previously owned the House of Bread, a popular bakery in the city, before transitioning to the produce business. Their vision was to create a market that not only offered high-quality produce but also fostered a sense of community.
To bring this vision to life, they partnered with their son, Carson Baldiviez, and his fiancée, Tanya Val, who opened That Feeling Co., a houseplant and coffee shop, in the same building.
It is one of the cutest places in Anchorage and is so fun to grab a cup of coffee at That Feeling Co and walk around Johnny's Produce.
Johnny’s Produce is not just a place to shop for high-quality fruits and vegetables; it's a testament to the Baldiviez family's dedication to fostering a sense of community in Anchorage. Since its founding, the market has embraced the local culture, providing customers with access to unique produce such as hard-to-find dragon fruit and green dragon apples. This commitment to variety extends to their support of local artisans, who sell handmade goods like jams and cookbooks at the market. With a juice bar offering refreshing smoothies crafted from fresh ingredients, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The inviting atmosphere is enhanced by its proximity to That Feeling Co., where patrons can sip coffee while browsing the greenery, making every visit a delightful experience. Whether you're a local or a visitor, make sure to stop by Johnny’s Produce for a taste of Anchorage's vibrant culinary scene. Supporting local businesses has never felt so good, and Johnny's Produce is at the heart of it all, creating a community hub that celebrates the rich resources of Alaska.
