Lemon Butter Lobster Tails 🍋 🧈 🦞

LEMON BUTTER LOBSTER TAILS 🦞

INGREDIENTS

Lobster Tail

—4 lobster tails

—Season to taste: salt, pepper, garlic powder & paprika

—2 tbsp of olive oil

Lemon Butter Sauce

—1 stick of butter

—Season to taste: salt, pepper, garlic powder & paprika

—4 oz of shredded Parmesan

—chopped parsley

DIRECTIONS

1. Cut the shell of your lobster tails lengthwise. Separate the tails from the shells. Pull lobster tails out and rest on top of their shells.

2. Season top and bottom of lobster tails.

3. Add olive oil on top of lobster tails.

4. Place lobster in the oven at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. While it cooks, get started on the lemon butter mixture.

5. Combine room temperature butter with seasonings, Parmesan and parsley. If the mixture is too runny, put in the freezer for 10 minutes to solidify it.

6. Take lobster out of oven and scoop the butter mixture onto the tails.

7. Place lobster back in the oven at 400 degrees for 5 minutes.

Note: I had left over butter mixture, so I toasted it on some French bread. Y’all it is so good! #lobster #easyrecipe #southerncooking Shreveport#fyp

... Read morePreparing lobster tails with a lemon butter sauce is a wonderful way to elevate a simple meal into a luxurious dining experience. I’ve found that starting with fresh lobster tails makes a significant difference in flavor and texture. When preparing, I like to carefully cut the shells lengthwise and gently pull the lobster meat to sit atop the shells, which not only makes for an attractive presentation but also ensures even cooking. Seasoning plays a huge role in enhancing the natural sweetness of lobster. Using a combination of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika adds a subtle kick and color. Adding olive oil before baking helps to keep the lobster moist throughout the cooking process. Baking at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for a total of 15 minutes (10 minutes first, then 5 minutes after adding the lemon butter mixture) consistently results in succulent and tender meat. The lemon butter sauce itself is so flavorful and can easily be tailored to your taste. Combining room temperature butter with garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, shredded Parmesan, and fresh chopped parsley creates a creamy and slightly tangy topping that complements the lobster beautifully. For a firmer texture, chilling the butter mixture briefly in the freezer helps prevent it from melting right away when placed on hot lobster tails. One of my favorite tips is to use any leftover lemon butter sauce by toasting it on some crusty French bread. This not only minimizes waste but also adds a delicious appetizer or side to the meal. Overall, this recipe is quick, easy, and perfect for anyone looking to impress with a seafood dish that tastes like it came from a fine dining restaurant but without the fuss.
