Similarly, some lotions like Pond’s were just okay; they hydrated but lacked anything extraordinary. I also enjoyed the scent and subtle shimmer of the Hempz Spun Sugar & Vanilla Bean Herbal Body Moisturizer, perfect for summer vibes, making it a favorite to get again. The Brazilian Bum Bum Cream by Sol Janeiro is another standout for me — its fragrance and skin-tightening benefits made it a product I would gladly repurchase. Interestingly, I noticed some products like the handmade cosmetics sometimes left my skin feeling a bit off, so I tend to be cautious with them and might not buy again. Overall, the empties challenge has increased my awareness of product shelf life, actual effectiveness, and my personal preferences in skincare ingredients and benefits. It’s a fun way to declutter while gaining insights into which products truly enhance my skincare routine. I highly recommend anyone curious about minimizing waste and making smarter beauty choices to try a similar monthly empties challenge.
