QUICK DINNER Creamy Rigatoni w/ Beef
Ingredients:
• 4tbsp avocado oil
• 8oz rigatoni noodles
• 2 tbsp butter
• 1lb ground beef
• 1 jar (24oz) your choice of tomato based pasta sauce (I used HEB’s organic “Garlic Lovers”)
• 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
Seasonings of your choice for ground beef- I used salt and pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano and a tiny bit of Italian seasoning
Instructions:
1. In a medium pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add a little bit of avocado oil to the water, then add in your rigatoni noodles. Let boil for about 10-12minutes until noodles are done to your liking.
2. While noodles are cooking, in a separate medium pot or saucepan add some avocado oil, and then add your ground beef.
3. Add whatever seasonings you’d like to your ground beef, and brown the ground beef until fully cooked through.
4. Remove from heat and drain your ground beef (if needed), then put your beef back into your saucepan.
5. Turn heat down to low or simmer, and add your jar of pasta sauce. Mix well
6. Once mixed, add your heavy whipping cream and butter and mix this in until fully incorporated.
7. Once your noodles are finished, add them to the sauce pan with your meat and sauce and voila, dinner is served!
8. Top with parsley flakes or some shredded mozzarella cheese, and enjoy.
