You SHOULD COMPARE Yourself...
A REMINDER that the ONLY person you should be comparing yourself to is you. This can be you yesterday, this can be you last month, last year, etc.
In a world full of comparison online, it is so easy to subject yourself to that. We don't even know the beginning of what others lives entail. People have different bodies, lifestyles, backgrounds, genetics, privileges, and more.
BUT if you want to grow and measure your growth. You should compare yourself to who you were and work at making yourself into who you want to be. OF COURSE you will have off days. It is always necessary to give yourself some grace. But be better than who you were yesterday and if you keep doing this, imagine who you could be in a year.
Some comparison is good!

In today’s world, social media and external pressures often lead individuals to make unfair comparisons with others. However, it’s crucial to recognize that each person has a unique set of circumstances, experiences, and backgrounds. By focusing on personal progress rather than comparisons to others, you are framing your growth within a context that is both fair and attainable. When you measure your achievements against your past self, it promotes self-improvement and encourages a growth mindset. Practicing self-comparison can enhance your self-confidence by allowing you to acknowledge not just the areas where you need improvement but also the progress you’ve made over time. Keeping that focus can motivate you to set realistic goals that are aligned with your values and aspirations. It offers a path toward personal fulfillment and encourages you to embrace your individuality. Moreover, it’s important to practice self-compassion; remember that everyone has off days or setbacks. Allow yourself the grace to acknowledge where you are without harsh judgment. Such an approach can ultimately lead to a healthier relationship with yourself. If self-growth is the goal, continuously assessing your evolution in a positive light is critical in achieving personal excellence.
