•Wedding Guest Book Alternative: A Heart-Shaped Puzzle ❤️, this was such a cute addition for guest to write sweet messages and now we can have it in our home on display.

•Branded Mirror 🪞 : I purchased decals from Etsy and placed them on a mirror I found from Lowe’s and this ended up being a fun Instagram-worthy moment for our guests. We’ve also repurposed this mirror in our home!

•Wedding Guest Book Alternative: Having guest submit date night ideas and well wishes 🫙 that we can revisit through the year! I especially love the date night jar whenever we need a fun idea!

•Branded Pillows: I mocked up a logo on Canva and we used it on different wedding items like our invitations and website. I also found some reasonably-priced pillows on Zazzle and added the logo to them. These pillows were displayed on couches we had during our cocktail hour. After the wedding, I gave one to my mom and mother-in-law and we kept the rest for our own home!

Dedicating time to research cost-effective decor options ensures that you can create a beautiful ambiance without breaking the bank. Consider DIY projects that add a personal touch; for example, creating a heart-shaped puzzle guest book allows guests to express their unique wishes while providing a decorative keepsake. Branded items can enhance your wedding's theme. Use tools like Canva to design custom logos that can adorn pillows, invitations, and even decor elements like mirrors. These items not only elevate the decor but also serve as meaningful mementos post-event. Incorporate creative elements like a 'date night jar' where guests can contribute suggestions for future outings—this not only invites participation but also gives you ideas that extend beyond the wedding day. Using social media, especially through platforms like Instagram, can also inspire trends and help in sourcing budget-friendly items from local artisans or online marketplaces. Don’t overlook opportunities to utilize rental services for larger decor pieces, enabling you to have the desired look without the permanent investment. Overall, by combining creativity with smart spending, you can craft the wedding of your dreams while keeping finances in check.
