Osaka: You want to trade well, you have to join Toka Ebisu!

The first major festival of the new year, Toka Ebisu, is held at Ebisu Shrine, one of the seven gods of fortune, and is considered the god of fishermen and trade.

This festival is based on Ebisu's birthday on the 10th, which is the origin of the name Toga (Tenth) Ebisu.

It is intended as a prayer of blessing for prosperity in business. On the part of the Imamiya Ebisu Shrine in Osaka is held on January 9 to 11, and what is famous is the amulet named Fukusasa. A small amulet attached to Fukusasa is known as Kisho, which features Kobang coins, sea pipefish, straw bags, Eboshi (a hat worn by a nobleman), and a mallet. There is also the "Hoe Kako Parade," which attracts the public to the event. In the procession, there are famous geisha and comedians sitting on it. "Ho-e-kako" with the shouting of "Ho-e-kako-ho-e-kako, eraiyatcha-eraiyatcha."
