Let’s talk about Jesus I guess..

Preface: this is going to piss off a lot of people but I am exhausted of the “Christian love” on this app and explaining my stance so here we are.

Jesus was a Black revolutionary witch. A healer, diviner, and radical who stood against empire, practiced folk magic, and lived in deep communion with spirit. He was not white, not Roman, and not Christian. He was executed by the Roman state because he threatened their authority, not because he claimed divinity. That title, “son of God,” was applied later as part of a strategic rebrand, transforming a spiritual rebellion into a tool of control.

Christianity, as it exists today, is a patchwork quilt sewn from stolen cloth. Its holidays were taken from older pagan festivals, its saints renamed from gods and spirits worshipped long before the Bible, and its rituals, candles, incense, offerings, sacred waters, altars, prayer circles, are all witchcraft by another name. The church didn’t invent holiness. It took ancient practices and repackaged them under a new banner, stripping them of context while condemning those who kept the original ways alive. Christians regularly engage in the same magic they demonize, only they call it faith instead of spellwork.

The Bible has been rewritten and edited over centuries to serve kings, councils, and colonizers. It was used to erase the divine feminine, suppress the wild and the sacred, and create a fear-based moral system that benefits institutions, not souls. During the Plague, Christianity surged again, not from divine truth, but from terror. People clung to anything that promised hope, and the Church offered salvation in exchange for obedience. It was a system built not to free, but to contain.

The god of the Bible, as worshipped today, is not an ancient creator but an egregore. a being formed from centuries of belief, bloodshed, and manipulation. He is shaped by human will and fed by fear. That is not divine source. That is a construct.

Jesus was not the origin of Christianity. He was the end of the old empire. They killed him to silence a rebellion, then built a religion to make sure no one tried again.

So go ahead and pray for me to your god as so many of you threaten me with, but at least mine will answer xx

... Read moreThe discussion surrounding Jesus as a Black revolutionary and practitioner of folk magic challenges conventional Christian narratives and invites a deeper investigation into history and spirituality. Jesus, often depicted in Western art as white, was historically a Middle Eastern Jew whose identity, revolutionary actions, and spiritual practices have been interpreted through varying lenses. The article’s mention of Jesus as a healer, diviner, and a figure opposing the Roman Empire echoes scholarship examining the political and social context of first-century Judea, where resistance to imperial domination was common. Christianity’s development over centuries involved syncretism, where pagan festivals and deities were incorporated and recontextualized into Christian holidays and saints. For example, the timing of Christmas aligns with earlier pagan winter solstice celebrations, and many Christian symbols have roots in pre-Christian rituals. This appropriation differentiated Christianity from its origins as a spiritual movement into an institutionalized religion that served political and social authority structures. The notion of the Bible as a politically and culturally edited text is supported by historical evidence of multiple authors, revised manuscripts, and councils that shaped its canon. This process affected the portrayal of divine figures and moral teachings, sometimes suppressing feminine divine aspects and esoteric spiritual practices that thrived in earlier traditions. The designation of the biblical god as an "egregore"—a construct shaped by collective human belief and social dynamics—reflects modern interpretations that view religious concepts as evolving entities influenced by historical events, power struggles, and communal identities. This view promotes understanding of faith systems as living, adaptive phenomena rather than fixed absolute truths. Ancient practices noted—such as the use of candles, incense, altars, and prayer circles—highlight the continuity and transformation of ritual magic. Whether called witchcraft, folk magic, or faith, these practices aim to connect practitioners with the sacred, reflecting universal human spiritual expressions across cultures. This perspective encourages readers to critically examine established religious narratives and recognize the complexity behind religious identity and spiritual heritage. It promotes respectful dialogue and awareness of differing beliefs and interpretations that shape faith in contemporary society.
