เมื่อได้ลองเรียนภาษาจีนที่ Oriental Culture Academy (OCA) ด้วยค่าเรียนเริ่มต้นเพียง 2,000 บาทต่อเทอม สิ่งที่ประทับใจอย่างแรกเลยคือบรรยากาศการเรียนที่ไม่เครียดและสนุกมาก ๆ ซึ่งทำให้คนที่ไม่ชอบภาษาอย่างผมเริ่มรู้สึกว่าเรียนภาษาจีนได้อย่างง่ายดายและรวดเร็ว หลักสูตรที่นี่สอนตั้งแต่ระดับต้นจนถึงสูง เหมาะสำหรับผู้ไม่มีพื้นฐานจริง ๆ อย่างผม เริ่มเรียนแบบออนไลน์ผสมออนไซต์ ทำให้มีความยืดหยุ่นทั้งการเรียนที่บ้านและมาด้วยตัวเองที่สถาบัน พร้อมใช้เวลาราว 1 ปีกว่าจะจบหลักสูตรระดับต้น ซึ่งแบ่งเป็น 5 เล่ม แต่ละเล่มเรียน 1 เทอม (3 เดือน) สิ่งที่ชอบมากคือวิธีการสอนที่ไม่เน้นท่องจำแห้ง ๆ แต่เน้นการตอบโต้พูดคุยและให้คนเรียนจดจำคำศัพท์และโครงสร้างภาษาเองโดยอัตโนมัติ ทำให้ภาษาจีนที่เคยดูเหมือนยาก กลับกลายเป็นภาษาที่จับต้องได้เร็วขึ้นมาก และผมยังสามารถอ่าน-เขียนคำง่าย ๆ และพูดตอบโต้ได้แล้วหลังจากเรียนแค่เทอมแรก ทางสถาบันยังเป็นศูนย์สอบ HSK และ YCT อย่างเป็นทางการ ซึ่งถ้าเป็นนักเรียนของที่นี่จะได้ส่วนลดพิเศษสำหรับการสมัครสอบด้วย ถือว่าเป็นข้อดีสำหรับคนที่อยากมีใบรับรองภาษาจีนไปใช้ในอนาคต การเดินทางก็สะดวกมาก ใกล้ BTS สนามกีฬาแห่งชาติ มีบริการรถสองแถวราคาประหยัดหรือเดินจากบรรทัดทองได้ไม่ไกล มีที่จอดรถสำหรับผู้ขับรถยนต์มาเรียนด้วย สำหรับใครที่กำลังลังเลว่าจะเรียนจีนดีไหม หรือไม่มีพื้นฐานมาก่อน ผมอยากแนะนำให้ลองสมัครเรียนที่ OCA ดู เพราะนอกจากค่าเรียนที่ไม่แพงแล้ว วิธีสอนและบรรยากาศก็เอื้อต่อการพัฒนาทักษะภาษาจีนอย่างแท้จริง ผมเองเป็นตัวอย่างจากเด็กที่ไม่ชอบภาษาเลยแต่กลับรู้สึกชอบและเรียนได้อย่างสนุกทุกครั้งที่เข้าเรียน ประสบการณ์นี้ทำให้ผมมองเห็นโอกาสใหม่ ๆ สำหรับอนาคต และการลงทุนในภาษาจีนถือเป็นการเปิดประตูสู่โลกกว้างที่ดีกว่าสำหรับผมจริง ๆ
