Low Tide, No Rush”
Title: “Low Tide, No Rush”
The ocean doesn’t hurry me,
it opens its arms and waits.
Salt in the air, sun on my shoulders,
time loosens its grip.
Footprints come and go,
the tide doesn’t mind.
Neither do I.
Laughter drifts like gulls overhead,
soft, unclaimed.
The water hums a lesson
I don’t need to write down.
Here, I breathe slower.
Here, the horizon reminds me
that rest is not quitting—
it’s returning.
I let the waves finish my thoughts
