B*tch I am the secret ingredient!!

You can be too!! This easy loaf recipe calls for the following:

Set oven to Bake at 325°

Mash up 3 to 4 ripe bananas

1 stick of melted butter

1/2 cup of sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon of vanilla

2 tablespoons of oil (your choice canola/avocado/grape seed)

Mix wet ingredients!

Dry:

2 cups of flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt (1/2 if you didnt use salted butter)

🍞Slowly fold in parts of the dry mixture a couple scoops at a time until completely mixed with wet. Don’t over mix it can cause baking issues!

🍪Bonus: add nuts/ chocolate chips /peanut butter and mix in just before it goes in the oven.

🍞 oil your baking pan or muffin tins (I pour a little oil in then spread around with a paper towel or food brush)

🍞Bake at 325° for 60-70 minutes, I like to set my timer for 40 mins then check and do 10 minute timers until the you can insert a butter knife in the middle and it comes out with no excess dough.

🥜Notes: you can use 2 eggs instead of oil, you can use 1 cup apple sauce

Instead of butter!

Let cool for 10 minutes and ENJOY!!! 🍌🍫💝🍞👩🏽‍🍳✨

... Read moreBanana bread is a beloved classic known for its moist texture and deliciously sweet flavor. This recipe stands out due to its use of ripe bananas, which not only contribute to the taste but also provide natural sweetness, allowing you to reduce added sugars. To achieve the best results, make sure to use very ripe bananas; the darker they are, the sweeter your bread will be. Additionally, the optional enhancements like nuts, chocolate chips or peanut butter can elevate your loaf even further, catering to diverse palates. When baking, consider the importance of precise temperature and timing. Baking at 325° is ideal for ensuring the bread cooks evenly, avoiding excessive browning while allowing enough time for the flavors to meld perfectly. Use a toothpick or knife to test the doneness – it should come out clean with just a few moist crumbs clinging to it. For those interested in healthy substitutions, you can swap oil for unsweetened apple sauce or reach for alternatives like Greek yogurt to cut down on fat while maintaining moisture. This recipe makes it easy to enjoy a healthier twist on a traditional favorite! Enjoy baking and share your outcomes with the Lemon8 community using #bananabread!
