A Course In Miracles Lesson 172
I notice how often I assume I need protection from life itself.
Lesson 172
God is but Love, and therefore so am I.
🌿 Fear often presents itself as wisdom.
Stay guarded.
Stay alert.
Stay prepared.
Sometimes those habits seem so reasonable that I never question what they assume.
That I am vulnerable.
That I am alone.
That I need constant protection.
The review lessons for today point a different direction.
Not toward carelessness.
Toward remembering what I am.
🧩 (153) In my defenselessness my safety lies.
Defenselessness is not weakness.
It is the recognition that my true Self cannot be threatened by the stories fear tells.
What is real in me does not require constant protection.
🧩 (154) I am among the ministers of God.
This lesson reminds me that my purpose is not isolation.
It’s participation.
What I receive is meant to be extended.
What I learn is meant to be shared.
Together, these lessons reveal a Self that is neither fearful nor separate.
A Self that is safe enough to stop defending and connected enough to serve.
That Self does not have to manufacture love.

Today I'm paying attention to where I still assume I must protect myself from everything around me.
Where I forget the strength that comes from connection rather than defense.
Not trying to become fearless.
But becoming more willing to remember what I am.
God is but Love, and therefore so am I.
