A Course In Miracles Lesson 210

I notice how quickly pain asks for my attention while joy quietly waits for my willingness.

Lesson 210

I choose the joy of God instead of pain.

🌿 Pain often feels inevitable because I have practiced believing it.

Today's lesson reminds me that pain is not God's desire for me. Joy is not something reserved for another time or another life—it is the inheritance of the Self God created.

🧩 Every time I choose God's joy over the stories my fear wants to tell, another piece of the puzzle settles into place. I discover that healing begins with the simple willingness to choose again.

Today I'm paying attention to the choices hidden inside my thoughts. Whenever fear invites me into suffering, I'm choosing instead to remember that God's Will for me has always been joy.

I choose the joy of God instead of pain.

I am not a body. I am free.

For I am still as God created me.

I am MovingStill.

... Read moreIn my personal journey studying A Course In Miracles, Lesson 210 profoundly shifted my perspective on pain and joy. The reminder that pain is not God's will but a belief I've practiced resonated deeply. Often, I found myself drawn immediately to pain or discomfort, feeling it demanded urgent attention, while joy remained quietly in the background, waiting for me to notice it. This lesson teaches that joy is not distant or reserved for someday—it is our rightful inheritance, embedded in the very Self God created. I began to observe my thoughts and noticed how quickly fear could hijack my mind, steering me toward suffering stories. Yet, with practice, I learned to pause and consciously choose joy instead of pain. Each time I made this choice, it felt like another piece of a puzzle fitting perfectly. This simple act of willingness to choose joy over fear opened a space for healing and freedom. The affirmation "I am not a body. I am free. For I am still as God created me" became a powerful daily reminder. It helped shift my identity from physical limitations to spiritual freedom. Accepting this truth brought a sense of peace and aligned me more closely with God's will, which is pure joy. In practical terms, I noticed that embracing joy did not mean ignoring life’s difficulties but rather changing my reaction to them. This shift allowed me to move through challenges with greater ease and less resistance, trusting that God's joy is always present beneath the surface of pain. If you are exploring A Course In Miracles, I encourage you to meditate on this lesson and watch how your choices shape your experience. Pain may ask for your attention loudly, but when you choose joy, you align with your true Self and divine inheritance. This inner freedom inspires lasting healing and transformation.
