WIEIAD~ Protein Overload ~
I don’t normally eat this much protein in a day but I started with high protein because I wasn’t sure what we’d be eating for dinner. My boyfriend decided on some ribeyes and the shrimp we had leftover from dinner the other night. I estimate I had around 174g of protein. Could possibly have had more but this is just the meals I documented today, I weigh 117lbs so this is def over the amount of protein I need each day but it makes up for the days I didn’t meet my protein goals!

Increasing your protein intake can have numerous benefits, including muscle growth, fat loss, and improved metabolic health. It's often recommended to spread protein intake throughout the day to maximize muscle protein synthesis. Foods such as lean meats, seafood, eggs, and plant-based sources like lentils and quinoa are excellent choices. If aiming for high protein, consider incorporating snacks like Greek yogurt or protein shakes to meet your daily goals. Always consult with a nutritionist or healthcare provider to tailor your protein needs based on your body weight, activity level, and health objectives. Remember, balance is key; while protein is vital, consuming a variety of nutrients is essential for overall health.
