Knowing where your 'ENEMIES REVEALED' gives you a huge advantage, even if your teammates aren't communicating perfectly. It helps you make smarter plays and avoid unnecessary peeks. Another critical aspect to improving your 'gaming level' in solo queue is understanding 'POSITION COMP.' This isn't just about team composition, but also about your individual positioning during rounds. Are you holding angles effectively? Are you rotating smartly? Are you in a good spot to trade kills or support your team's push? Often, small adjustments to your positioning can turn a losing round into a win. It’s also about knowing when to be aggressive and when to play passively, reading the flow of the game. Ultimate management is also a game-changer. I’m constantly reminding myself, 'PRESS MBS ULT READY' – meaning, don’t hold onto your ultimate for too long! Using your ultimate at the right time, whether it's for a crucial plant, a retake, or to break through a choke point, can swing the round in your favor. Being mindful of your economy and your team's ultimate status is key. Even a well-timed 'WUN' (one enemy remaining) callout combined with an ultimate can secure the round. Beyond in-game mechanics, maintaining a positive mindset is crucial for solo ranking. It's easy to get frustrated with losses or uncooperative teammates, but focusing on your own performance and what you can control makes a huge difference. Try to make useful callouts, even if no one else is talking. Sometimes, just one clear call like 'ENEMIES REVEALED B long' can spark better team coordination.
