What was your first big bike?

My first one was this Kawasaki Z250 more than 10 years ago. Many people still don't call the 250 cc the Big Bike, but for me that day it was the most exciting car in my life.

I remember waiting almost three months, waiting almost a day, because that was when Kawasaki started bringing the Ninja 250, Z250, ER-6n, Ninja 650 and Versys 650 into our home market, and the Big Bike was starting to boom.

In those days, just riding the Z250 out of the house, people looked at almost every red light. Riding through it felt cool. Unlike today, even if riding a thousand cars, sometimes no one turned around, haha.

It was the era when everyone started to group, set up, and set up trips, and my group was called "Nontree." We would meet in Central Ratnathibes every Friday evening.

There's not much to see each other, stand around the car, talk about accessories, talk about pipes, talk about trips, and look at each other's cars for hours. Whoever rode the ER-6n, Ninja 650 or Versys 650 at that time, I have to say, it's truly the top of the group, haha.

In retrospect, the car that day may not have been very strong, the technology is not much like today's cars, but the feeling of waiting for the car, the first day of receiving the keys, and the pleasure of riding to meet friends every Friday night are very clear memories.

Perhaps the joy of motorcycling is not in the number of cc or horsepower, but in the time we rode together, and what memories did that car bring us?
