Sayaka doodles
#gettoknowme first post ig 💔💔
Hey art lovers! I'm so excited to finally share some of my latest art pieces, especially these Sayaka Miki doodles I've been working on. It’s my first proper post here, so a bit nervous but hoping you enjoy seeing my process and style! I've always been drawn to Sayaka Miki's character, especially her iconic blue hair and determined spirit. For one of the pieces, I really wanted to try a vibrant digital painting. I spent quite a bit of time creating that piece, focusing on getting her teal hair and blue eyes just right, and sketching out her white and blue outfit. I even added a subtle red mark on her cheek to give it a bit more character and depth. Digital art allows for so much freedom, from blending colors seamlessly to adding those glowing effects that really make a character pop. It’s a completely different experience from traditional sketching, and I love experimenting with both! Then there are the messy anime pen sketches, which are a whole other vibe. There's something incredibly satisfying about just grabbing a teal marker and letting your hand flow. You'll see a few of these in my collection. One of my favorites is a sketch where I experimented with short, messy hair and bandages – one eye covered, and some wrapped around the lower face. I think it adds a mysterious, perhaps even a slightly melancholic, feel to the character. It’s amazing how a simple teal marker can bring so much life to a sketch! These aren't meant to be perfect; the beauty is in their raw, expressive lines. Another sketch I explored features a mermaid-like figure, complete with a flowing mermaid tail, alongside another character wielding a sword and wearing an elaborate headpiece. I love adding fantasy elements and imagining new stories for characters. The musical notes and swirling lines were just me having fun with the composition, trying to convey movement and a bit of magic. It just goes to show how much you can express with just a few simple lines and a single color. For anyone interested in trying out messy anime pen sketches or digital art, I’d say just go for it! Don't worry too much about perfection in the beginning. For sketches, a good quality marker or pen is key, and just let your hand be free. For digital, there are so many free programs to start with. It's all about exploring different styles and finding what resonates with you. I hope these doodles give you a little peek into my creative world and maybe even inspire you to pick up your own pen or tablet! Let me know what you think in the comments!
