THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
YOU WANT GOD TO ORDER YOUR STEPS,
WELL YOU GOT TO MOVE YOUR FEET. 💯🙌🏿🙏🏿
In my own journey, I've found that faith isn't just about hoping for guidance—it's about actively participating in the process. The quote, "You want God to order your steps, well you got to move your feet," resonates deeply because it highlights the partnership between divine guidance and personal effort. Often, we think that praying or hoping is enough for everything to fall into place. However, taking steps toward our goals demonstrates our commitment and readiness to receive blessings. The phrase from the OCR, "You gotta move like you know God got you," perfectly captures the confidence and assurance that come from this mindset. By moving forward, even when the path isn't fully clear, we show faith through action. This proactive stance opens doors and opportunities that might remain closed if we stay passive. For example, when seeking a new job, praying for direction is essential, but sending resumes, networking, and skill-building are equally important. Embracing this balance between spiritual trust and tangible effort has made a significant difference in my life. It reminds me that while we may ask for help in ordering our steps, the journey requires us to take those steps with trust and determination. This approach nurtures growth and aligns us more closely with the purpose intended for us.
