Is it just a number?

2025.. the year I turned 30.

Whats new? Migraines. That’s a new one.

Patience… more of it, this is new. I reflect at times and one day I recognized my disinterest in over exerting myself in anyway. It now makes sense the age old cry, “I’m so tired”. Well yeah I get it now. I’ve been tired for a while and now that I’m here I know what I want. Peace and stability. For the past 2 years I have been sick of me. Sick of feeling, sick of wanting, sick of fighting, and sick of hoping for a miracle. When you’re tired you’ll know. Simple life is a great life!

What’s different? Since turning 30 I turned into a fairy 🧚🏽‍♀️ Hahahaha jokes aside. I have been a lot more confident. There’s this ominous feeling about your 30’s that I’m sure spooked us all until we got here. It’s a badge of honor to say I survived my 20’s. I’ve made enough mistakes and learned a ton of lessons to better control myself so that my experiences are more intentional and honor God’s purpose.
