Chuck and Mark
We have been together since 1997. He is my first love, the wind beneath my wings, the one who put my name in lights. I have no illusions about what this great man has done for me, how much he loved me, and what he wouldn’t do for me. The best I can do now is acknowledge his part in my story and give him credit and live where I can and hopefully try to make up for some of the damage that I have done to his life along the way. When we got together in ‘97, he only asked one thing of me, “whatever you do, please don’t make a fool of me.” And it seems I did just that unintentionally of course. Looking back I feel I was too young to make a commitment having just turned 21 only days prior.🤷
