A big hole in my heart was formed when you crossed the rainbow bridge a week ago. I've been crying. Daily. Nightly. I look around the house and think i'm hearing you. Seeing you. You may have been so tiny but you've left a huge absence in our lives. I still can't believe you are gone. I hope heaven is treating you well. Earth has been so hard without you. You've been my tiny rock in a dress and with sass. You were singlehandedly the reason I didn't check out early sometimes when I was a teenager. Girly pop you did some heavy lifting for my mental health for a number of years. You were perfect. You were everything I needed and more. I absolutely loved you beyond what I believed possible. You're my first baby. You absolutely deserved the world and I truly tried my best to give it to you. 🥺 I hope that you and I will snuggle again one day. I hope that you're not in pain, that my heart can find solace in the fact that no sickness can touch you anymore. I saw a quote a while ago about how grief is proof that love reigned. Grief is proof that love was stronger than death. Because your grief is love with nowhere to go. So as I continue to send my love to heaven for the rest of my life I hope that you will feel it. I hope my love will make you feel that we're not mad at you for leaving. We're just sad we can't see you so free. When I come over that rainbow bridge one day, to see you again... I hope that you can show me how fast you can run now. Nothing to slow you down or hold you back. My heart feels so heavy right now. And it sure does hurt. My eyes sting. My throat aches. My chest heaves and feels so tight.
But I know you're free. And I hope you get the best peace. The most beautiful field to sun bathe and the fluffiest warmest blanket to snuggle under. I hope the dog beds are fluffy and you have all the canned food you can eat. I also hope that you're catching up on lost time with Nanny. She loved you so.
Rest well baby. You're going to need to use those legs to run to me one day, (hopefully far from now) and I want you to be ready 🤍
