Today is enough.

Some of us have been carrying tomorrow on our backs…

and wondering why we’re exhausted today.

Worry always whispers, “It’s all on you.”

But Jesus says, “It’s all on Me.”

God doesn’t give tomorrow’s grace today.

He gives daily portions… just enough for this moment, this breath, this need.

So if your mind is already three steps ahead,

pull your heart back home to here.

God is already in your tomorrow.

You can rest today. 🤍

Save this for when your chest feels tight.

Send it to a friend who’s been trying to hold it all together.

You don’t have to carry this alone!

... Read moreYou know that nagging feeling, right? That constant pull to think three steps ahead, to plan for every possible outcome, to carry the 'what ifs' of tomorrow on your shoulders? I’ve been there so many times, feeling utterly exhausted by the weight of future worries. It’s like my mind is always racing, trying to solve problems that haven't even happened yet, convinced that 'it’s all on me' to figure everything out. But what if I told you there’s a profound peace waiting when you truly embrace the truth: God is already in your tomorrow. This isn't just a comforting phrase; it's a game-changer for daily living. When I first heard it, it sounded nice, but it took time for it to sink into my heart and transform how I approached my days. Think about it: the very struggles you fear in the future, the uncertainties that keep you up at night – God is already there, preparing the way, laying out His grace. The Bible reminds us, “So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.” (Matthew 6:34, NLT). This isn't an invitation to be irresponsible; it's a radical call to trust. For me, putting this into practice meant learning to intentionally pull my heart back home to here. When my mind starts spiraling into future scenarios, I mentally (or sometimes even verbally!) tell myself, 'Stop. God is in control of that. What can I do *today*?' It helps ground me in the present moment, where His grace is actively available. The idea of 'daily portions of grace' has been especially transformative. We often want a bulk supply of strength and wisdom for the entire week, or even year, to feel secure. But God provides what we need, *just enough for this moment, this breath, this need*. It’s like spiritual manna – just enough for today. This means I don't have to carry tomorrow's weight today. He sees every need before I even speak it, and He's already working on it. So, how do we truly rest your heart when anxiety knocks? Acknowledge the worry: Don't ignore it. Name what you're afraid of. Remind yourself of His presence: Actively tell yourself, 'God is already in my tomorrow.' Picture Him there, preparing. Focus on today's tasks: What can you genuinely accomplish or address today? Let the rest go. Practice gratitude: Shifting focus to what you do have and what God has provided today can drastically reduce anxiety. Talk to Him: Offer up your worries in prayer. Release them from your shoulders onto His. This journey isn't about perfectly eradicating all worry – we're human, after all. But it’s about consistently choosing to lean on His promise. It's about finding that deep, sustaining peace that comes from knowing you don't have to carry this alone. He's got your tomorrow, so you can truly rest today. You don't have to carry tomorrow’s worries into this precious moment.
