Struggling to stay a float

Y’all, when I say I am struggling. I mean, I feel like I’m dying on the inside. But I’ve done well to hide it. So well that my husband doesn’t think I’m stressed about what’s going on or depressed.

And let me tell you, I cry more often than I would like. I go to those dark places more often than I want too. It’s gotten to the point where I am thinking about getting on antidepressants for a period. Because I just need something to help me for the time being.

And although I am trusting God with this process, i find that waiting for God to give me clarity on what to do is hard. So right now, I am trying to stand still and fully let go and let God do His thing. But I’m human, I’m not perfect. So I find myself impatient and trying to rush God. But I have to remember that He will do things when He says the timing is right.

So please pray for me, pray for this season in my life. I know you don’t know me or what’s going on. But I greatly appreciate the prayers.

... Read moreIn times of distress, it’s important to remember that we are not alone in our struggles. Many individuals face periods of deep emotional fatigue and doubt, much like what unscripted stories of faith reveal. The experience of hiding emotional pain resonates with numerous people, shedding light on the often invisible battles they face. Mental health is a critical aspect of our well-being, highlighting the importance of open conversations about struggles like depression and anxiety. Seeking professional help is a courageous step that many undertake, illustrating a commitment to self-care. Faith can act as a guiding light during this process. The Bible offers comfort through verses such as 2 Chronicles 15:7, which encourages perseverance: 'But as for you, be strong; don't give up, for your work has a reward.' This reassures individuals that their efforts, even in despair, are valued and recognized by a higher power. Engaging in a supportive community, whether through prayer or sharing experiences, can cultivate resilience and provide hope. Embrace the power of vulnerability, allowing it to foster deeper connections with others who may also be waiting for clarity. Ultimately, understanding that timing is divine can help ease frustrations. Trusting the process often involves patience and acceptance of God's timing, letting go of the urge to rush through the healing journey. Consider connecting with groups focused on faith, support, and mental health for further guidance. Your voice matters, and sharing your struggles may inspire others to also seek help and find solace.
