Just Feeling Myself
Decided to straighten out my hair and take a selfie. Because I feel pretty today. And although 99.99% will not care about this post. I thought I show up in your feed anyway. Lol.
But in all seriousness, I’m genuinely happy. I see God moving in my life and restoring a relationship I never thought could be mended. But I should know better than to put God in a box, because nothing is too far gone for Him to fix.
We’re not out of the woods, but have come a long way from where we were at months ago. And I thank God for not only walking with me through this, but for giving me peace through this. I know storms will come in this life, and following Jesus doesn’t mean my life is going to be perfect. But, it does mean He makes it easier to walk through the fire because He’s with me.
I would love to know how to pray for you! Please feel free to leave a comment down below with your prayer request, and if you’re not comfortable with others knowing. Simply write “unspoken prayer request” or send me a message.
Y’all have a wonderful and blessed day or night!

It's truly incredible how much a shift in perspective, combined with deep faith, can change everything. When I mentioned seeing God move in my life and restoring a relationship, it wasn't an overnight miracle, but a gradual process of surrendering, praying, and trusting. There were so many moments I felt like giving up, thinking this particular relationship was beyond repair. But that’s where the idea of 'not putting God in a box' really hit home for me. We often limit what we believe is possible based on our own experiences and understanding, but divine intervention often works in ways we can't foresee. For anyone navigating difficult relationships, whether with family, friends, or even within yourself, remember that healing is possible. It often starts with forgiveness – forgiving others, but also forgiving ourselves for our part in any conflict. Prayer became my anchor during those challenging times. It wasn't just about asking God to fix things, but about finding the strength and wisdom to approach situations with grace and understanding. I found immense peace knowing that even when I didn't have all the answers, I wasn't alone. That feeling of 'just feeling good about myself' isn't just about a good hair day or a nice selfie. It's deeply connected to that inner peace and the knowledge that I'm walking in alignment with my faith. It’s a holistic feeling of well-being that comes from spiritual growth and trusting in a higher power. Even when life throws its inevitable storms, having that spiritual foundation makes all the difference. It doesn’t make the storm disappear, but it equips you with resilience and the unwavering belief that you'll make it through. I encourage you all to lean into your faith, whatever that looks like for you. If prayer feels daunting, start simply. Talk to God as you would a trusted friend. Share your hopes, your fears, and your heart's desires. And if you're struggling to find that peace or need guidance in a relationship, remember that there's a community ready to lift you up. Sharing prayer requests, even 'unspoken' ones, creates a powerful chain of support. Let's continue to support each other on our journeys of faith, finding strength and joy in every step.
