👑💜 WOMEN OF THE BIBLE: PRISCILLA — FAITH, WISDOM & PARTNERSHIP 💜👑

As we close out our Women of the Bible series, I wanted to end with a woman whose influence reminds us that you don’t need the biggest platform to make a Kingdom-sized impact. ✨

Priscilla was a teacher, mentor, encourager, wife, friend, and faithful servant of God. Alongside her husband Aquila, she opened her home, supported the early church, worked alongside the Apostle Paul, and helped others grow in their understanding of God’s Word.

One of the most beautiful moments in her story comes when she and Aquila heard Apollos—a gifted and passionate preacher—speaking about God. Rather than criticizing him publicly for what he didn’t yet understand, they came alongside him and helped him grow. 🙏🏽

📖 “They invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately.” — Acts 18:26

There is something so powerful about that kind of woman. 💜

A woman who doesn’t need to compete with others to know her worth.

A woman who uses what God has taught her to teach someone else.

A woman who understands that another person’s growth does not diminish her own calling.

A woman who opens her heart, her home, and her life for the work of God.

A woman who knows that ministry can happen anywhere God places you. ✝️

Priscilla reminds us that some of the greatest Kingdom work happens quietly—in conversations, friendships, homes, marriages, mentoring relationships, and moments when we choose to pour into someone else.

✨ Never underestimate the lives God can touch through your wisdom, kindness, hospitality, encouragement, and willingness to say YES to Him.

And what a beautiful way to conclude this series. We’ve walked alongside Esther, Ruth, Deborah, Mary, Hannah, and now Priscilla—women with different stories, different struggles, and different callings, yet each one reminds us of what God can do through a woman who trusts Him. 👑

... Read morePriscilla’s story is a powerful reminder that impactful ministry doesn’t always require a large public platform—it often starts quietly in homes and personal relationships. Her partnership with Aquila exemplifies teamwork in faith, showing how couples can serve the Kingdom together effectively. What stands out most is their humility and dedication to growth, especially demonstrated when they helped Apollos understand God's word more fully without public criticism. This approach highlights an important lesson for us today about encouraging others with grace and wisdom. In my own experience, mentoring others in faith has been deeply rewarding when done with patience and kindness, much like Priscilla’s example. Opening our hearts and homes to nurture growth in others creates an atmosphere where learning and transformation thrive. It’s often in these intimate moments—conversations, prayers, shared struggles—that God’s work unfolds most profoundly. Moreover, Priscilla’s story challenges the notion that ministry is confined to formal settings. It encourages all of us to recognize that God places us where our faith and gifts can serve others, whether in churches, workplaces, or homes. The way she blended hospitality with teaching and encouragement reveals that ministry is multidimensional and accessible. One practical takeaway is the power of partnership, not only in marriage but in community, to advance God’s purposes. Priscilla and Aquila’s joint ministry underscores the effectiveness of shared spiritual leadership and support. Reflecting on Priscilla inspires us to embrace roles as teachers, mentors, encouragers, and partners in ministry, trusting that small acts of faithfulness can ripple out into significant Kingdom impact. Like the many women in the Bible series, Priscilla’s legacy invites us to walk confidently in the calling God has placed on our lives, knowing that wisdom and grace can open doors for transformation wherever we are.
