Did you know this about Prime Sure Footed?
Prime Sure Footed can save you from being knocked down by enemies, and also from yourself #warframe #warframecommunity #warframelemon8 #mrvanetic
Hey everyone! 👋 Let's talk about something that used to drive me absolutely crazy in Warframe: getting knocked down! There’s nothing more frustrating than being mid-combo, channeling an ability, or just trying to escape, only to be sent sprawling across the floor. That's where Prime Sure Footed comes in, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for my gameplay. I used to think, "Do I really need a mod just for knockdown?" But trust me, once you experience true knockdown immunity, you won't go back. The original article briefly touches on it, but let me tell you, this mod is much more than just preventing tumbles. The key is its '+100% Chance to Resist' stat. This isn't just a high chance; it means you are completely immune to most forms of knockdown, staggers, and even certain types of magnetic procs that force you to fall. This 100% immunity lets you freely continue your attacks, abilities, or escapes without interruption. Why is 100% Knockdown Immunity so vital? Think about it: many Warframes rely heavily on channeling abilities, maintaining combos, or staying mobile. For example, when I'm playing my Ash Prime (seeing that in the OCR reminded me how good it is for him!), trying to land those Bladestorm finishers or staying invisible, getting knocked down can break my flow and leave me exposed. With Prime Sure Footed, I can commit to my actions without fear. It’s also incredibly useful for melee-focused builds where you're often in the thick of things, or when using weapons with high recoil that can self-stagger. Are there any alternatives to Prime Sure Footed? This is a common question, and while Prime Sure Footed is often considered best-in-slot for full immunity, there are other options, but they come with trade-offs: Regular Sure Footed: This is the non-Prime version. It offers knockdown resistance but not 100%. While better than nothing, that small chance of still getting knocked down can be crucial in high-level content where even one interruption can mean death. Power Drift / Cunning Drift (Exilus Mods): These Exilus slot mods offer 30% knockdown resistance each, alongside other stats. You could technically combine them for 60%, but that still leaves you vulnerable and usually isn't worth two Exilus slots compared to a single Prime Sure Footed in a regular mod slot. They're good if you absolutely cannot fit Prime Sure Footed but still want some protection. Warframe Abilities/Passives: Some Warframes have built-in knockdown resistance or immunity. Atlas and Nidus have passive knockdown immunity when certain conditions are met. Nezha's Warding Halo grants knockdown immunity while active. Rhino's Iron Skin provides full status immunity, including knockdown, while active. These are great, but they're tied to specific frames and often require ability upkeep, unlike the set-and-forget nature of Prime Sure Footed. Rolling Guard: While not a direct alternative for constant immunity, Rolling Guard grants 3 seconds of invulnerability and status immunity (including knockdown) after rolling. It's a fantastic mod for survivability and can prevent knockdowns, but it requires active input and has a cooldown. It complements Prime Sure Footed rather than replacing it. In my experience, if you have access to Prime Sure Footed, it's almost always worth the mod slot, especially if you find yourself constantly interrupted by enemy attacks or environmental hazards. It dramatically improves quality of life and allows for more aggressive, confident gameplay. Give it a try; you might just find your Warframe game reaching new heights, free from those annoying tumbles! Happy hunting, Tenno! ✨
