My big Boy Capone ( Al Capone)

It's true what they say: a dog truly is man's best friend! And in my case, my big boy Capone is the bestest friend anyone could ask for. He's not just a pet; he's family, with a personality as striking as his looks. People often stop me to admire his handsome features, and I can't help but agree – he's quite the charmer! Capone is a beautiful white pit bull type dog, and his presence just lights up every room he enters. What really gets me are his soulful brown eyes. They're so expressive, telling you exactly what he's thinking, whether it's 'playtime!' or 'snuggles, please!' His adorable black nose is always sniffing out new adventures, and even his purple collar seems to add to his distinguished look. Every morning, seeing that sweet face looking directly at the camera for a morning greeting is just the best way to start the day. Taking photos of Capone is one of my favorite hobbies, and I've learned a few tricks to really capture his essence. Natural light, especially during the 'golden hour,' makes his white fur glow. Second, get down to their level. Instead of shooting from above, sit or lie down to capture their perspective. This makes for a much more intimate and engaging portrait. Sometimes, the most captivating shots aren't full-face portraits. I’ve found that focusing on his brown eyes or the texture of his fur in a close-up can convey so much emotion, even if you’re not seeing his entire face. These "no face" close-ups can be incredibly powerful; they highlight a specific feature, like his curious gaze or the gentle curve of his black nose, making the viewer feel a deeper connection. It's about capturing a moment, a feeling, rather than just a static image. Using treats or a favorite toy just out of frame is also a great way to get them to look directly at the camera, giving you that perfect, engaged expression. And speaking of Capone, I have to talk about why I love pit bulls so much. There's a lot of misunderstanding around the breed, but my experience with Capone, and many other #pittielove advocates, shows they are truly loving, loyal, and incredibly affectionate dogs. Capone is gentle, playful, and fantastic with kids and other animals. He exemplifies the true spirit of a companion animal, always ready with a wagging tail and a happy bark. It's so rewarding to share his handsome face and loving nature with the world, hoping to change perceptions one beautiful picture at a time.
